Role Definition
Responsible for implementing and maintaining the Quality Management System, ensuring product quality compliance, handling customer coordination, and managing QA/QC activities across projects, suppliers, and manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inward inspection of materials at stores.
- Perform in-process/stage inspections and quality control activities as per project requirements.
- Carry out final inspection as per customer and drawing requirements.
- Ensure calibration of measuring instruments and welding machines.
- Coordinate and perform external inspections at supplier locations and project sites as per schedule.
- Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation as per drawings and customer specifications.
- Implement and maintain ISO 9001:2015 and other applicable quality systems.
- Maintain traceable quality records and ensure easy document retrieval.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives at supplier and in-house manufacturing locations.
- Prepare ITP/QAP/QCP for various products and projects.
- Coordinate with customers, consultants, and third-party inspection agencies during inspections and testing activities.
- Support vendor development and supplier quality enhancement activities.
- Monitor effective implementation of quality procedures in line with Quality Management Systems.
- Participate in internal and external audits and ensure closure of non-conformities.

- Completion of inspections as per schedule.
- Zero customer complaints related to inspection quality.
- No overdue calibration gaps.
- Timely submission of quality documents to customers.
- Continuous quality improvement at in-house and supplier locations.
- Development of new qualified vendors.
- Effective implementation of QMS procedures.
- No major non-conformities during internal/external audits.
Educational Qualification
- BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- OR
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) with minimum 10 years of relevant experience

- Experience in NDT methods and interpretation of reports.
- Experience in customer and TPI coordination.
- Knowledge of calibration systems and traceability requirements.
- Understanding of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹85,000.00 per month
