We are building a strong, process-driven organisation and are looking for an experienced HR Head to lead our people function and support the next phase of business growth. About the Role We are looking for a strategic yet hands-on HR Head who can take ownership of the complete HR function — from recruitment and employee onboarding to performance management, training, compliance, employee engagement and leadership development. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working closely with senior management and department heads, building HR systems, improving accountability and creating a high-performance work culture. Key Responsibilities HR Leadership & Strategy Lead the overall HR function and HR team. Develop HR policies, processes, systems and SOPs aligned with business objectives. Advise management on manpower planning, organisation structure and people-related matters. Build a disciplined, accountable and performance-oriented culture. Develop HR dashboards and MIS for management review. Recruitment & Manpower Planning Drive manpower planning based on current and future business requirements. Lead recruitment for critical and managerial positions. Build talent pipelines for key roles. Improve recruitment quality, turnaround time and retention. Ensure every position has clear responsibilities, KRAs and expectations. Strengthen onboarding and induction processes. Performance Management Implement and manage a strong KRA/KPI-based performance management system. Ensure timely performance reviews and appraisals. Identify high performers and performance gaps. Drive Performance Improvement Plans where required. Develop succession plans for key positions. Build a culture of ownership and measurable performance. Training & Leadership Development Identify training and development needs across departments. Plan and monitor the annual training calendar. Develop managers and second-line leaders. Build internal talent and succession capability. Monitor training effectiveness and employee development. Employee Relations & Engagement Establish effective employee communication and engagement systems. Handle employee grievances and sensitive employee matters. Promote discipline, professional behaviour and positive workplace culture. Conduct employee engagement initiatives and feedback mechanisms. Work closely with department heads to resolve people-related issues. HR Operations & Compliance Oversee attendance, leave, employee records and payroll coordination. Ensure accurate and confidential employee documentation. Maintain audit-ready HR records. Ensure compliance with applicable employee/labour requirements. Support internal and customer audits related to HR. Identify compliance gaps and ensure timely corrective action. Organisation Development Review organisation structures and reporting relationships. Define roles, responsibilities and accountability. Develop career paths for key employees. Identify critical roles and succession requirements. Improve organisational effectiveness and productivity. Retention & Exit Management Monitor employee attrition and identify root causes. Conduct structured exit interviews and analyse trends. Develop retention plans for critical talent. Ensure professional and timely exit processes. What We’re Looking For 8–15+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably with experience leading the HR function. MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent qualification preferred. Strong experience in HR operations, recruitment and employee relations. Proven experience implementing KRA/KPI-based performance management. Strong experience in training and leadership development. Good understanding of employee/labour compliance. Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability. Strong confidentiality, integrity and professional judgement. Experience in manufacturing, textile, carpet/rug, handicrafts, export or a similar operational environmentwill be an advantage.
