Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Procurement Engineer to support procurement activities for EPC projects. The role involves sourcing materials and services, obtaining quotations, evaluating vendors, preparing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of project requirements while maintaining quality and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure materials, equipment, and services required for EPC projects.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Prepare comparative statements and recommend vendors based on technical and commercial evaluations.
- Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and follow up with suppliers for order confirmation.
- Coordinate with engineering, project, and logistics teams to ensure timely procurement and delivery.
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and compliance with project specifications.
- Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and documentation.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and project requirements.
- Support vendor development and identify alternative sources to optimize cost and quality.
- Assist in resolving supplier-related issues and expediting critical deliveries.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical.
- 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, preferably in an EPC / Marine Industry.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Good negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
