We're Hiring | Milling & Lathe Machine Operator
RURU TEK Private Limited is looking for an experienced Milling & Lathe Machine Operator to join our Production/Machine Shop team.
Location: Mahindra World City, Chengalpattu, Tamil Nadu
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Responsibilities
1. Set up and operate Automatic Milling and Semi-Automatic Lathe machines.
2. Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job orders.
3. Inspect machined components using precision measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.).
4. Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
5. Maintain production and inspection records.
6. Follow safety standards, quality procedures, and 5S practices.
7. Coordinate with Quality Control and Production Planning teams.
Eligibility
✔ ITI/Diploma in Mechanical/Fitter/Machinist or equivalent.
✔ Minimum 2 years of experience in Milling & Lathe machine operations.
✔ Ability to read engineering drawings and work within specified tolerances.
✔ Knowledge of machining parameters, cutting speeds, feeds, and material properties.
✔ Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
