We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented TIG Welder-Fabricator with 1+ years of experience to join our manufacturing team. In this combined role, you will be responsible for the entire production cycle of premium stainless steel products—from reading blueprints and cutting/assembling raw materials to executing high-quality, seamless TIG welds. Since our primary products are Hospital Furniture (medical beds, ICU carts, sterile trolleys) and Hospitality Furniture (hotel counters, commercial kitchen tables, designer structures), you must possess a strong eye for dimensional precision, structural strength, and flawless aesthetic finishing.Key Responsibilities
- Fabrication & Assembly: Read and interpret technical engineering drawings, CAD blueprints, and design sheets to cut, notch, bend, and align stainless steel tubes, pipes, and sheets.
- Precision TIG Welding: Perform high-quality TIG (GTAW) welding on thin-gauge stainless steel (primarily SS 304 and SS 316), ensuring strong, neat, and defect-free welds with minimal heat distortion.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 1+ years of practical experience as a TIG Welder-Fabricator, specifically working with stainless steel furniture, sheet metal, or commercial kitchen equipment.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of stainless steel grades (SS 304, SS 316) and thin-gauge sheet metal handling (1.0 mm to 3.0 mm thickness).
- Blueprint Reading: Ability to independently interpret 2D fabrication drawings, welding symbols, and dimensional specifications.
- Finishing Skills: Exceptional skill in weld dressing, grinding, and polishing to achieve high-end aesthetic finishes (hairline, mirror, or satin finishes).
- Education (Preferred): ITI / Diploma in Welding, Sheet Metal Work, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent practical trade experience.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- High attention to detail to meet strict hygienic standards required for medical devices and premium hotel decor.
- Strong manual dexterity, steady hand-eye coordination, and the ability to stand for extended production shifts.
- Strict adherence to workshop safety rules, including the mandatory use of PPE (welding helmets, gloves, and safety shoes).
