Educational qualifications:
Postgraduate degree in Psychology.
Salary: Gross Rs.28000/- per month negotiable.
Position; Jayanagar, Bangalore.
Responsibilities
· Greet the wards and make them comfortable at the center.
· Conduct Assessments for new inquiries and existing wards.
· Periodic family interactions
· Daily interaction with wards to monitor BPSD and provide interventions
· Non pharmacological interventions for BPSD
· Conducting Daily CST/group activities and individual activities for the day care wards
· Facilitate Psychiatric consultations with the wards and their families at the memory clinic.
· Ensure medication administration to the wards as per prescription.
· Attend team meetings and review meetings
· Training of the nursing aides on identifying BPSD and non pharmacological interventions and effective communication strategies with the wards.
· Develop a personalised Care plan for the wards based on their needs and orient the team towards the care plan
· Participate in team meetings and discussions on developing and executing plans.
· Periodical assessments of the wards
· Planning and execution of the activities and supervising the team to conduct them.
· Documentation of Incidents(BPSD) and RCA,ABC chart updation
· Training the staff periodically on best practices to manage the wards’ behavior.
· Case File management
· Maintaining up to date records of relevance
· Maintenance of activity items and the room.
· Maintain operational/ monthly reports with coordination and inputs from the MDT
· Interns and Volunteers engagement
· Report to the Center head on daily updates of the center
· New initiatives towards enhancement of the facility and continuous improvement
· Any other responsibilities as assigned by the management
