Role Overview
The Intake Processor is responsible for the receipt, registration, and initial processing of adverse event reports within the pharmacovigilance case management system. This is a high-volume operational role focused on accurate case intake, book-in, and administrative support within a consumer healthcare pharmacovigilance program.
Qualifications and Experience

2 to 4 years of experience in pharmacovigilance or drug safety operations.

Degree in Pharmacy, Pharm D, BHMS, BDS, or equivalent qualification preferred.
Key Responsibilities

Receive and register incoming adverse event reports from multiple sources into the safety database.

Perform case book-in and initial registration of ICSRs accurately and within defined timelines.

Process source documents, ensuring completeness and correct attachment.
- Carry out data entry in line with defined conventions and SOPs.
- Monitor and manage shared mailboxes, ensuring timely retrieval and acknowledgement.

Perform duplicate checks to identify potential duplicate cases.
- Should be able to support high-volume processing of predominantly non-serious cases while maintaining quality and turnaround standards.

. Escalate incomplete, ambiguous, or potentially serious cases to the relevant team lead.
