A Drawing Fitter is responsible for assembling, fitting, and installing mechanical or structural components according to engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications. The role requires accuracy, technical knowledge, and the ability to interpret detailed fabrication or mechanical drawings.
Required Skills
- Ability to read technical and fabrication drawings.
- Knowledge of fitting tools and measuring instruments.
- Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Experience in fabrication, machine fitting, or structural fitting.
- Basic knowledge of welding and assembly processes is an advantage.
Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma in Fitter, Mechanical, or related trade.
- Previous experience in fitting or fabrication work preferred.
Experience
- 1–5 years of experience preferred for industrial projects.
