Job Summary
The Plumber is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems at construction sites. The role includes working on water supply lines, drainage systems, sanitary fittings, and ensuring all plumbing work meets company quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install water supply, drainage, and sewer pipelines.
- Install and fix sanitary fittings, taps, wash basins, toilets, sinks, and other plumbing fixtures.
- Read and understand plumbing drawings and layouts.
- Repair leaks, blockages, and damaged pipelines.
- Test plumbing systems for proper water flow and leakage.
- Coordinate with site engineers and supervisors for daily work.
- Ensure proper use of plumbing tools and equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety at the worksite.
- Report material requirements and site issues to the supervisor.
- Complete assigned work within the project timeline.
Requirements
- ITI/Trade Certificate in Plumbing (Preferred).
- 1–5 years of experience in construction or real estate projects.
- Knowledge of plumbing materials, fittings, and installation techniques.
- Ability to read basic plumbing drawings.
- Physically fit and willing to work at construction sites.
