A Speech Therapist, also known as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), assesses, diagnoses, and treats disorders related to speech, language, voice, fluency (e.g., stuttering), and swallowing across all age groups. They develop personalized therapy plans and educate patients and families on managing their conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessment & Diagnosis: Perform tests and clinical observations to identify the type and severity of communication and swallowing disorders.
- Treatment Planning: Develop and execute individualized treatment and therapy plans to improve patient outcomes.
- Patient & Family Education: Counsel patients, family members, teachers, or caregivers on how to manage disorders and support the rehabilitation process.
- Documentation & Coordination: Maintain detailed records of patient progress and collaborate with doctors, psychologists, and rehabilitation teams.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
