1.CNC Router & Laser Cutting Machine Operator
Department: Amity School of Design (ASD)
Key Responsibilities
1.Operate and maintain CNC Router and Laser Cutting machines.
2.Prepare machines, materials, and tooling for fabrication jobs.
3.Assist faculty and students in prototype development and model making.
4.Interpret CAD drawings and generate/execute CAM toolpaths.
5.Perform routine machine maintenance and calibration.
6.Maintain workshop inventory, consumables, and machine logs.
7.Ensure compliance with workshop safety procedures.
Desired Qualifications & Skills
1.Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing, Production, or related field.
2.Experience operating CNC Router and Laser Cutting machines.
3.Knowledge of CAD/CAM software (Fusion 360, VCarve, Aspire, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
4.Familiarity with materials such as MDF, plywood, acrylic, plastics, and wood.
5.Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and problem-solving skills.
