We are looking to hire a Fresher for the position of Junior Architect on a project basis. The immediate project involves the design and execution of a residential project at Thodupuzha, Kerala. The role will involve regular site visits to Thodupuzha, along with preparation and development of architectural drawings and other project-related documentation on non-site days.
The position will require a total of 48 hours per week. The working hours can be arranged flexibly as either a four-day or five-day working week, depending on mutual convenience and project requirements. Except during scheduled site visits, drawing and documentation work may be carried out remotely from home. The candidate is expected to have access to a personal laptop for work. Alternatively, if required, a desktop computer can be provided at the designated base location.
For candidates required to work from the base location, accommodation and food will be provided. The project-based engagement may be extended or continued for additional projects, subject to project requirements and mutual interest in continuing the professional association.
The position will include standard sick leave along with one casual leave per month. In addition, the candidate will be entitled to one day of leave per year for their birthday and one day for the birthday or anniversary of a loved one.
Preference will be given to candidates based in Thodupuzha. Candidates based in Kottayam may also be considered, in which case a two-wheeler may be provided for project-related commuting and site visits. A valid driving license is required for candidates who will be using the vehicle.
The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of architectural drawings and construction processes, be willing to participate in site-related activities, and be comfortable working independently as well as coordinating with the project team. Since this is a project-based position, adaptability, responsibility, and willingness to learn through practical project experience will be valued.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
