Job Description - Director of Brand Narrative

About the Role
Shivam Video is seeking a highly creative, strategic, and storytelling-driven Director of Brand Narrative to define and manage the company's brand voice, messaging, and communication strategy. This role is responsible for crafting compelling narratives that strengthen brand identity, build emotional connections with customers, and ensure consistency across every internal and external communication.
The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in brand storytelling, corporate communications, content strategy, copywriting, and audience psychology. They should be capable of transforming the company's services, innovations, projects, and achievements into engaging stories that reinforce Shivam Video's position as a leader in the audio-visual and event technology industry.
Key Responsibilities
1. Brand Narrative & Storytelling Strategy
- Develop and own the company's overall brand narrative, messaging framework, and communication strategy.
- Create compelling stories that communicate the company's vision, values, expertise, and market leadership.
- Ensure consistency in brand voice and messaging across all customer touchpoints.
- Continuously refine the brand narrative based on customer insights, market trends, and business objectives.
2. Content Strategy & Brand Communication
- Develop content strategies for websites, social media, blogs, newsletters, videos, case studies, and marketing campaigns.
- Create impactful messaging for company profiles, brochures, presentations, sales collateral, and digital platforms.
- Ensure all communication aligns with the company's brand identity and positioning.
- Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to deliver engaging and meaningful content.
3. Client Presentations & Business Development Support
- Develop persuasive storytelling for client pitches, proposals, presentations, and experiential concepts.
- Work closely with the Sales and Business Development teams to create compelling narratives that improve pitch effectiveness.
- Translate complex AV and event technology solutions into clear, customer-focused messaging.
- Enhance proposal quality through strategic storytelling and visual communication.
4. Corporate Communications & Public Relations
- Lead corporate communication initiatives, including press releases, announcements, leadership messages, and company updates.
- Support PR activities, award submissions, and industry recognition initiatives.
- Develop communication strategies for product launches, company milestones, and major business announcements.
- Maintain consistency in all external and internal communications.
5. Thought Leadership & Industry Positioning
- Build the company's reputation through thought leadership content, industry articles, keynote speeches, and opinion pieces.
- Identify opportunities to position company leadership as industry experts.
- Develop content around emerging trends in experiential marketing, AV technology, AI, and innovation.
- Strengthen the company's credibility through educational and value-driven communication.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Marketing, Creative, Sales, Client Servicing, Operations, and Leadership teams to ensure consistent brand communication.
- Work closely with designers, videographers, and content creators to bring brand stories to life through multiple formats.
- Guide teams on messaging, communication standards, and storytelling best practices.
- Ensure seamless alignment between brand strategy and communication execution.
7. Innovation & Audience Engagement
- Research consumer behavior, communication trends, and storytelling techniques to enhance audience engagement.
- Explore AI-powered content creation tools and emerging communication technologies.
- Identify innovative formats that improve customer interaction and brand recall.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize communication strategies to strengthen brand perception.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Advertising, Public Relations, Media, English, or a related field.
- 7–10+ years of experience in brand communications, content strategy, corporate communications, copywriting, or storytelling.
- Strong expertise in brand messaging, strategic communication, content development, and corporate storytelling.
- Excellent writing, editing, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with digital content, social media strategy, PR, and thought leadership initiatives.
- Familiarity with AI-powered content creation tools and modern communication platforms.
- Ability to simplify complex ideas into compelling and engaging narratives.
- Experience in events, experiential marketing, advertising, media, or creative agencies will be highly preferred.

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
