Key Responsibilities
1. Media & Public Relations Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and communication partners.
- Draft and distribute press releases, news articles, and media statements.
- Handle media queries and ensure the institution is represented positively and professionally.
- Monitor media coverage and prepare communication reports for management.
2. Communication & Branding
- Create and manage content for the institution’s website, newsletters, brochures, and social media platforms.
- Ensure consistency in messaging, branding, and communication across departments.
- Draft speeches, announcements, and official communication for senior management.
- Oversee the design and production of promotional materials.
3. Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the liaison between the institution and parents, government bodies, vendors, and community members.
- Manage public inquiries and provide timely, accurate information.
- Handle sensitive communication matters with discretion and professionalism.
4. Event Coordination
- Plan, organize, and manage institutional events including ceremonies, meetings, and public gatherings.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for logistics, communication material, and event execution.
- Ensure brand visibility and proper representation during events.
5. Crisis Communication & Issue Management
- Provide communication strategies during crises or sensitive situations.
- Manage any negative publicity and ensure timely corrective communication.
- Prepare risk communication plans and support management during critical situations.
6. Internal Communication
- Support HR and Admin teams in internal communication initiatives.
- Draft internal circulars, notices, and employee communication material.
- Promote organizational achievements, activities, and important updates to staff.
7. Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain records of press releases, media coverage, event reports, and communication documents.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies and ethical communication standards.
- Support management with documentation needed for official and statutory communication.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Public Relations Officer or similar communication role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (and local language, if applicable).
- Strong networking and media-handling capabilities.
- Ability to manage crises, multitask, and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in MS Office, social media platforms, and communication tools.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
