Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager – Solar EPC Projects to lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of commercial, industrial, and utility-scale solar projects. The ideal candidate should have proven expertise in Solar EPC project management, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to deliver projects safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end execution of rooftop and ground-mounted Solar EPC projects.
- Plan, schedule, monitor, and control project activities from initiation to final commissioning.
- Lead and coordinate site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, vendors, and installation teams.
- Ensure projects are completed within approved timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, government authorities, DISCOMs, and statutory agencies.
- Review engineering drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and project documentation.
- Oversee procurement planning and ensure timely availability of project materials.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement effective corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable electrical standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct regular site inspections and project review meetings.
- Prepare project progress reports and present updates to senior management.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, synchronization, and project handover.
- Ensure accurate project documentation, billing milestones, and project closure activities.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Solar EPC project execution and management.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and project coordination skills.
- Sound knowledge of solar PV systems, electrical installations, and commissioning procedures.
- Strong planning, budgeting, and resource management capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Project, Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and other project management tools.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Solar EPC project execution and management.
- Graduate qualification is mandatory. B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering is preferred.
- Experience in commercial, industrial, or utility-scale solar projects is essential.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Karnataka and neighboring states as required.
- Valid driving licence is preferred.
- Immediate joining candidates will be given preference.
