Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons for senior secondary students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver effective lessons for Classes XI and XII as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, question papers, and assessment materials.
- Use innovative teaching methodologies and digital tools to enhance student learning.
- Conduct regular tests, assessments, and examinations and evaluate student performance.
- Provide academic guidance, remedial support, and individual attention to students.
- Prepare students effectively for CBSE Board Examinations and other competitive examinations, wherever applicable.
- Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, and student progress reports.
- Maintain a disciplined, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
- Encourage students to participate in subject-related competitions, projects, seminars, and activities.
- Participate in PTMs, staff meetings, workshops, school events, and other academic activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to curriculum planning and academic improvement.
- Perform other academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the school.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Educational Qualification: Master's Degree in the relevant subject with B.Ed. (as per CBSE norms).
- Experience: Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the CBSE curriculum, Board examination pattern, and assessment practices.
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in digital teaching tools and educational technology.
- Strong analytical, mentoring, and problem-solving abilities.
- Passion for teaching and commitment to students' academic and holistic development.
