Job Description – Head of Admissions, BiharPosition
Head of Admissions – Bihar

We are looking for a highly result-oriented Admissions Head who can take complete ownership of the admissions business in Bihar, drive revenue, manage the P&L, build a high-performance sales organisation, and deliver an annual target of 1,000+ admissions.
This is a business leadership role, not merely a sales management position. The candidate will be responsible for the complete revenue engine—from market strategy and lead generation to counselling, conversions, collections, team productivity and profitability.
Key Responsibilities1. Revenue & P&L Ownership
- Take end-to-end ownership of the Bihar admissions revenue and P&L.

- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual business plans.
2. 1,000+ Admissions Target
- Own and deliver a minimum 1,000 admissions annually from Bihar.
- Build a strong admissions pipeline with clear targets across monthly and quarterly cycles.
- Drive conversion from leads, counselling, school/college outreach, consultants, referrals, digital and other acquisition channels.
- Ensure consistent achievement against admission and revenue KPIs.
3. Bihar Market Strategy – 4-Zone Model
The candidate will be responsible for dividing Bihar into four strategic zones and creating an independent growth strategy for each zone.
Responsibilities include:
- Market mapping and territory planning.
- Identifying high-potential cities, districts, schools, colleges and institutions.
- Setting zone-wise admission and revenue targets.
- Building zone-wise sales teams and consultant networks.
- Developing local partnerships and institutional relationships.
- Monitoring zone-wise performance and taking corrective action.
4. Team Leadership
- Build, lead and manage a high-performance admissions team.
- Set individual and team-wise targets and KPIs.
- Conduct daily/weekly/monthly performance reviews.
- Drive productivity, discipline and accountability.
- Recruit, train, coach and retain high-performing sales professionals.
- Create a strong performance-driven culture.
5. Channel Development
Build and scale multiple admission channels, including:
- Direct sales
- School & college outreach
- Education consultants
- Referral network
- Digital leads
- Events and career fairs
- Institutional partnerships
- Corporate/community networks
6. Market Expansion
- Identify untapped markets and new admission opportunities across Bihar.
- Build a strong consultant and referral ecosystem.
- Develop relationships with schools, colleges, educators and key influencers.
- Track competitor activity, pricing, courses and market trends.
7. MIS & Performance Management
- Maintain accurate daily and weekly admissions MIS.
- Track lead-to-admission conversion, channel performance and team productivity.
- Present business performance and forecasts to senior management.
- Identify shortfalls early and implement recovery plans.
