Tasks & Responsibilities
- Manage and grow relationships with assigned key customers to achieve sales and business objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and develop new customers in the assigned territory.
- Prepare and execute sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Conduct regular customer visits to understand requirements, resolve concerns, and strengthen business relationships.
- Provide technical and commercial support by recommending suitable products and solutions.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and coordinate order closures.
- Collect customer feedback, monitor market trends, and share competitive insights with the management team.
- Coordinate with internal departments including Production, Planning, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to ensure timely order execution.
- Monitor sales performance against budgets and implement corrective actions wherever required.
- Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments and support the resolution of overdue accounts.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, customer records, visit reports, and MIS through CRM/ERP systems.
- Represent the company at customer meetings, exhibitions, and industry events as required.
Experience & Key Functional Competencies
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Technical Sales / B2B Industrial Sales / Key Account Management.
- Experience in Steel, Yellow Goods, Hydraulics, Industrial Components, Bearings, Automotive, or Engineering Products will be preferred.
- Strong experience in customer relationship management, sales negotiations, and business development.
- Ability to understand customer applications and provide technical solutions.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
Education
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering from a reputed National or State-level Engineering College.
