Key Responsibilities
- Machine Setup: Configure tooling, dies, and feeds on multi-station bolt formers (e.g., China/Taiwan/Indian-make) according to technical blueprints.
- Operation & Monitoring: Load raw material coils into the machine and continuously monitor production, adjusting speed and pressure for optimal output.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished bolts using measurement tools like micrometers and calipers to verify they meet specifications.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and make minor repairs to prevent equipment downtime.
- Documentation: Record production data, track inventory usage, and complete job production cards.
- Safety: Maintain a clean workspace and operate material handling equipment (such as forklifts or cranes) in compliance with safety protocols.
Core Requirements
- Experience: Typically 2+ years of specialized experience operating cold heading, bolt former, or nut former machines.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to read technical blueprints.
- Physical & Technical: Proficiency in reading measurement tools (micrometers, tape measures) and the ability to lift heavy objects.
- Certifications: Often requires or prefers an ITI (Industrial Training Institute) diploma or equivalent vocational training in machining/mechanical.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
