Job Summary
TapnHome Service Private Limited is looking for a skilled and experienced Chef who can prepare South Indian, Chinese, and Daily Home-Style Meals while maintaining high standards of taste, quality, hygiene, and customer satisfaction.
The selected candidate will undergo a 14-day trial and practical evaluation before final employment. Permanent joining will be based on performance and customer feedback.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare authentic South Indian dishes (Idli, Dosa, Uttapam, Vada, Sambar, Chutney, etc.).
- Prepare Chinese dishes (Fried Rice, Noodles, Manchurian, Momos, Spring Rolls, Soups, etc.).
- Prepare Daily Home-Style Meals such as Dal, Rice, Roti, Sabzi, Curry, Khichdi, and other regular menu items.
- Ensure consistency in food taste, quality, and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times.
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards.
- Manage kitchen inventory and minimize food wastage.
- Ensure proper storage of food and ingredients.
- Coordinate with the restaurant team for timely food preparation and service.
- Maintain discipline and professionalism in the workplace.
- Perform other duties assigned by the company.
Trial & Evaluation Process
- Trial Period: 14 Days (Practical Kitchen Evaluation)
- During the trial period, the candidate's cooking skills, hygiene, punctuality, teamwork, and discipline will be assessed.
- The candidate will be required to prepare South Indian, Chinese, and Daily Meal items as instructed by the management.
Customer Feedback & Confirmation
- After successful completion of the 14-day trial, the candidate may be offered permanent employment.
- The final appointment will be based on:
- Food quality and taste
- Kitchen hygiene and cleanliness
- Professional behavior
- Attendance and punctuality
- Positive customer reviews and satisfaction
- Overall performance during the evaluation period
The company reserves the right to extend the trial period or discontinue the employment process if the required standards are not met.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Chef or Cook in a restaurant, hotel, café, or cloud kitchen.
- Knowledge of South Indian, Chinese, and Indian home-style cooking.
- Hotel Management or Culinary Certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Working Hours
- 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Monday to Sunday)
- Weekly off as per company policy.
Salary
- Salary will be decided based on experience, skills, and final performance after the 14-day evaluation period.
