Job Position: Information Security Manager
Location: Gurgaon, India (On-site / Hybrid as per company policy)
Experience Required: 8–12 Years
Qualification: BE / B.Tech (Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related engineering streams)
Communication Skills: Must be native/fluent in English (excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills)
Core Responsibilities1. Technical Security Operations & Engineering
- Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR): Lead the strategy, deployment, deployment tuning, and everyday maintenance of enterprise EDR platforms. Ensure complete monitoring coverage and minimize false-positive alerts while hardening endpoint defenses.
- Vulnerability Management (Qualys): Oversee end-to-end vulnerability cycles using Qualys. Ensure continuous infrastructure/application scanning, risk prioritization, and active tracking with internal patch management teams.
- Privileged Access Management (CyberArk): Own the governance of administrative credentials through CyberArk. Design, implement, and audit secure access pathways, password vaults, and session recordings to enforce zero-trust identity architectures.
2. Incident Response & Threat Hunting
- Act as an escalation point and coordinator for critical security incidents.
- Review and optimize incident response playbooks and workflows to drive down Mean Time to Detect (MTTD) and Mean Time to Respond (MTTR).
- Conduct root-cause analysis (RCA) following major alerts and implement post-incident corrective controls.
3. Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC)
- Align operational tooling metrics with enterprise risk structures and compliance frameworks (such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, or DPDP Act compliance).
- Present clear, structured, technical and executive-ready security operational dashboards for leadership reviews.
Requirements & QualificationsTechnical Requirements:
- Engineering Background: Mandatory BE / B.Tech degree.
- Tool Expertise: Comprehensive, hands-on administrative and architectural mastery of:
- EDR solutions (e.g., CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, SentinelOne)
- Qualys Suite (VMDR, Policy Compliance)
- CyberArk (PAS, Privilege Cloud, CPM, PSM)
- Network & Systems Architecture: Deep understanding of enterprise architectures, including network security controls (firewalls, proxies), IAM flows, and cloud integration basics.
Soft Skills & Location Preferences:
- Impeccable English Fluency: Must possess high-caliber English language skills. The role requires conveying highly technical data risk models to non-technical business partners smoothly.
- Leadership Qualities: Experience managing technical security specialists or working closely with an outsourced Security Operations Center (SOC) team.
- Proximity: Candidates currently residing in or willing to relocate immediately to Gurgaon are required.
Preferred Certifications (A Plus):
- CISSP, CISM, CEH, or specific certifications in CyberArk (CDE), Qualys, or enterprise
- EDR architectures.
