Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Science (Biology) Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to inspire students through engaging and interactive science lessons. The teacher will be responsible for fostering scientific curiosity and helping students develop a strong understanding of biological concepts.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver effective Science and Biology lessons in accordance with the prescribed curriculum.
- Develop students' understanding of biological concepts through practical, activity-based, and inquiry-driven learning.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, assessments, and teaching resources.
- Conduct laboratory activities and demonstrations while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback for academic improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievement.
- Create a positive and engaging classroom environment that encourages scientific thinking and problem-solving.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and development.
- Participate in school events, meetings, training sessions, and co-curricular activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning practices.
Qualifications
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Biology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Zoology, Botany, or a related field from a recognized University.
- B.Ed. from a recognized institution is preferred/mandatory.
- Strong command of spoken and written English.
Experience
- 1–4+ years of teaching experience in Science/Biology at a recognized school.
- Experience in handling laboratory activities and practical sessions will be an added advantage.
Skills Required
- Strong subject knowledge in Biology and General Science.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to simplify complex scientific concepts for students.
- Proficiency in lesson planning, assessment, and student evaluation.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to integrate technology and innovative teaching methodologies into the classroom.

Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: ₹3,00,000 –3,60,000 ₹ per annum (Based on qualifications and experience)
