Greetings from Neuberg Diagnostics Private Limited.
We are looking for a Medical Transcriptionist to join our diagnostic centre in Vidyavihar, Mumbai. The candidate will be responsible for accurately entering and maintaining medical information and supporting the preparation and updating of radiology reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transcribe medical information from doctor’s notes in to the software (medical database).
- Retrieve medical data from the system on request from authorized personnel.
- Report or correct any discrepancies evident in the source document or the database.
- Attend telephone calls from doctors and patients requesting for report updates.
- Maintaining accuracy of entered data by checking and rechecking source document or the database.
- To maintain the integrity and confidentiality of all the medical records (no information will be shared or discussed without prior permission of the Doctor and the Reporting Manager).
- File and store office records as needed.
- Any other duties assigned by the reporting manager and consultants.
Requirements:
- Experience in Medical Transcription is preferred.
- Candidates with Radiology Transcription / Radiology Report experience will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of medical terminology, especially radiology terminology.
- Good English communication and typing skills.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to work with medical software.
- Ability to handle confidential patient information responsibly.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience in diagnostic centres, hospitals, radiology departments, or medical transcription companies and immediate joiners are encouraged to apply.
