SMEC Institute of Management is seeking a creative and skilled Video Editor cum Cameraman to capture, edit, and produce high-quality videos for marketing, branding, student engagement, events, social media campaigns, and promotional activities. The candidate should be capable of handling both videography and post-production independently.
Key Responsibilities:Videography & Camera Operations
- Capture high-quality videos and photographs for promotional, academic, and event-related activities.
- Operate professional cameras, lighting equipment, microphones, and other recording devices.
- Plan and execute video shoots based on marketing and management requirements.
- Ensure proper framing, lighting, and audio quality during shoots.
- Cover seminars, workshops, convocation ceremonies, student activities, and corporate events.
Video Editing & Post-Production
- Edit videos for social media platforms, YouTube, websites, and digital marketing campaigns.
- Create reels, shorts, promotional videos, testimonials, advertisements, and corporate presentations.
- Add graphics, animations, transitions, subtitles, sound effects, and background music.
- Maintain brand consistency in all visual content.
- Deliver projects within the specified deadlines.
Content Development
- Coordinate with the marketing team for content planning and campaign execution.
- Suggest creative concepts and video ideas to improve audience engagement.
- Maintain a library of photos, videos, and digital assets.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Video Editing, Multimedia, Mass Communication, Visual Media, or related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in videography and video editing.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software.
- Strong knowledge of camera handling, lighting, audio recording, and video production techniques.
- Experience in creating social media content and promotional videos.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
