Security Supervisor – Roles & Responsibilities
For Mall, Cinemas & Hotel
1. Security Operations
- Supervise and control the complete security team and daily deployment.
- Prepare shift-wise duty rosters, post allocation and manpower deployment.
- Conduct regular rounds of the entire premises.
- Ensure all security posts are continuously manned.
- Monitor entry and exit of employees, visitors, vendors and contractors.
- Maintain strict access control for restricted areas.
- Check security guards’ grooming, uniform, alertness and discipline.
2. Mall Security
- Monitor customer entry/exit, parking areas, loading/unloading zones and common areas.
- Coordinate security during peak hours, weekends and promotional events.
- Prevent theft, unauthorized access, vandalism and suspicious activities.
- Monitor escalators, lifts, emergency exits and fire exits.
- Handle lost & found property according to company procedure.
- Manage crowd control during events and emergencies.
3. Cinema Security
- Control customer movement during show timings, intervals and closing.
- Monitor cinema entrances, exits, corridors and emergency evacuation routes.
- Prevent unauthorized entry into auditoriums and restricted areas.
- Support crowd management during blockbuster releases and special screenings.
- Coordinate with Cinema Duty Managers during incidents.
- Ensure emergency exits remain accessible at all times.
4. Hotel Security
- Monitor guest, employee and vendor movements.
- Maintain security at hotel entrance, lobby, parking and service areas.
- Monitor VIP movements and special events discreetly.
- Control access to staff-only and restricted areas.
- Coordinate with Front Office and Hotel Management during guest-related incidents.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding guests and hotel operations.
5. CCTV & Surveillance
- Monitor CCTV cameras and identify suspicious activities.
- Ensure CCTV coverage is functioning properly.
- Report camera failures or blind spots immediately.
- Preserve CCTV footage when required for investigations.
- Coordinate with management during security incidents.
6. Emergency & Crisis Management
- Respond immediately to fire, medical emergencies, fights, theft, accidents and security threats.
- Coordinate evacuation and crowd control during emergencies.
- Liaise with Police, Fire & Rescue, Ambulance and other emergency agencies when required.
- Ensure emergency exits, fire equipment access and evacuation routes remain clear.
- Prepare incident reports after every major occurrence.
7. Team Management
- Conduct daily briefing and debriefing of security personnel.
- Monitor attendance, punctuality and shift handover.
- Train guards on emergency procedures, access control and customer handling.
- Take corrective action for negligence or misconduct.
- Evaluate guard performance and recommend improvements.
8. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain Occurrence Book (OB), incident reports, visitor records and key registers.
- Record accidents, thefts, disputes, suspicious activities and other incidents.
- Prepare daily security reports for management.
- Ensure proper shift handover with pending issues clearly communicated.
9. Vendor & Contractor Control
- Verify contractor/vendor entry authorization.
- Monitor movement of workers, materials and equipment.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Housekeeping, F&B and Operations teams.
- Prevent unauthorized removal of company assets.

Overall Objective:
To ensure maximum safety and security of customers, guests, employees, assets and premises across the Mall, Cinemas and Hotel while maintaining professional service standards and rapid emergency response.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
