Role Purpose
The Brand Approval & Liaison Manager (South Zone) will be responsible for driving product approvals, consultant engagement, and brand specification initiatives for MKK's METPRO product range. The role will focus on building strong relationships with Architects, Consultants, EPC Contractors, Project Management Consultants (PMCs), Government Departments, and Institutional Customers to ensure inclusion and approval of METPRO products in project specifications, tenders, and approved vendor lists.
2. Role Dimensions
- Drive consultant and project influencer engagement across South India.
- Secure product approvals and vendor registrations for the METPRO brand.
- Build relationships with Architects, Consultants, EPCs, PMCs, and Government Bodies.
- Facilitate product presentations, technical discussions, and plant visits.
- Coordinate with internal teams to support approval processes.
- Enhance brand visibility and specification presence in major infrastructure and industrial projects.
3. Key Responsibilities
A. Consultant & Influencer Engagement (40% Focus)
- Identify and establish relationships with Architects, Structural Consultants, EPC Contractors, Project Management Consultants (PMCs), and Design Consultants across the South Zone.
- Conduct technical presentations and product awareness programs for key decision-makers.
- Promote METPRO products and solutions to project influencers during the design and specification stages.
- Build long-term relationships with consultants and project stakeholders to increase brand preference.
B. Product Approval & Specification Management (30% Focus)
- Drive the inclusion of METPRO products in project specifications, tender documents, and approved vendor lists.
- Secure product approvals from consultants, EPCs, infrastructure developers, and institutional customers.
- Monitor approval status and follow up regularly to ensure timely closure.
- Maintain a database of approvals, registrations, and project opportunities.
C. Government & Institutional Liaison (15% Focus)
- Facilitate registration and approval of METPRO products with major Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), Airport Authority, Railways, Defence establishments, Central Government Departments, State Government Departments, and other institutional bodies.
- Track upcoming projects and approval requirements across government and institutional sectors.
- Coordinate submission of technical documents, certifications, and product information as required.
D. Internal Coordination & Customer Support (15% Focus)
- Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, technical, and sales teams to obtain product samples, certifications, test reports, and technical documentation.
- Organize consultant and customer visits to manufacturing facilities.
- Ensure timely response to approval-related requirements and customer queries.
- Support project teams during technical evaluations and approval discussions.

- Number of consultant relationships established and actively managed.
- Number of METPRO product approvals secured.
- Number of specifications and tender inclusions achieved.
- Vendor registrations completed with key organizations.
- Number of consultant and customer plant visits facilitated.

- Growth in project opportunities generated through specifications.
- Approvals secured with Government and Institutional bodies.
- Customer and consultant engagement effectiveness.
- Timeliness of approval closures and documentation support.
- Brand visibility among key project influencers.
5. Ideal Candidate
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Metallurgy, Production, or related discipline).
- MBA in Marketing or Business Management will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 8–15 years of experience in specification selling, technical marketing, project sales support, brand approvals, or liaison activities.
- Experience in steel, building materials, infrastructure products, construction materials, industrial products, or engineering sectors.
- Proven track record of working with Consultants, Architects, EPC Contractors, PMCs, and Government organizations.
- Strong understanding of project approval processes and vendor registration procedures.
