Job Summary
We're looking for a customer-focused jewellery sales professional to deliver an outstanding showroom experience and drive sales performance. The ideal candidate combines strong product knowledge with excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Candidates with prior team experience will be considered .
Key Responsibilities
Welcome and assist customers, understanding their requirements to recommend suitable jewellery
Explain product details clearly — gold purity, diamond quality, weight, pricing, certification, and ongoing offers
Achieve monthly and yearly sales targets through proactive selling, upselling, and cross-selling
Build and maintain customer relationships to drive repeat business and referrals
Handle billing, packaging, and customer documentation accurately
Maintain jewellery displays and overall showroom presentation
Support inventory checks and stock management
Resolve customer queries and complaints professionally and promptly
Stay current on new collections, designs, and market trends
Contribute to the showroom's social media presence and promotions
Additional Responsibilities Senior Executive
Support day-to-day operations and team coordination
Guide and mentor junior sales staff
Assist with target planning, staff scheduling, and performance tracking
Liaise with the Manager on stock, sales strategy, and customer escalations
Skills Required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proven sales, negotiation, and customer-handling ability
Basic computer and billing software knowledge
Working knowledge of gold, diamond, and silver jewellery
Professional grooming and a pleasant, confident personality
Fluency in Tamil and English preferred
Qualifications
Minimum: 10th / 12th pass; any degree preferred
1–3 years of jewellery or retail sales experience preferred (Sales Executive)
4–6 years of jewellery retail experience, including managerial exposure, preferred (Assistant Manager)
Working Conditions
Retail showroom environment with standing and continuous customer interaction
Weekend and festival working required
Rotational weekly off
