About the Role – Senior Platform Innovation Specialist
In this role, you will be part of a high-performing team that shapes the future of product strategy and development at Xactly. You will play a pivotal role in solving complex business challenges faced by Xactly customers and prospects by interpreting requirements, designing, building, testing, and evangelizing innovative, interactive prototype solutions on Xactly’s composable Intelligent Revenue Platform. You will collaborate across teams, providing invaluable insights and feedback to shape our core platform while facilitating a seamless transition of prototypes to R&D teams.
What You’ll Do

Collaborate and Scope: Partner with cross-functional internal teams, including Solutions Consulting and Product Management, to understand customer challenges, gather comprehensive requirements, and determine technical delivery paths.

Rapid Prototyping: Rapidly develop high-quality, end-to-end demo assets and interactive prototypes on Xactly’s composable development platform, turning abstract concepts into tangible demonstrations.

Enable and Validate: Deliver comprehensive technical enablement to Solutions Consulting in preparation for demonstrations, and contribute functional insights to Professional Services for accurate project scoping.

Iterate and Optimize: Solicit, analyze, and incorporate feedback from Solutions Consulting and field teams to refine and optimize demo assets to ensure maximum alignment with market needs.

Continuous Innovation: Stay up to date on new product features, agentic computing, and platform capabilities to incorporate modern approaches into existing and newly engineered demo assets.

Risk Management: Identify, mitigate, and escalate technical risks early, providing alternative architectural, functional, or data modeling approaches when necessary.
What We’re Looking For
Must-Have Skills
-
Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in Solution Consulting, Solution Architecture, Professional Services, Application Prototyping, or a closely related technical delivery role.

Data Proficiency: Deep proficiency in SQL along with a solid foundation in data modeling and database management.

Technical Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills with a proven ability to translate and convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, customers, and executives.

Execution & Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple rapid prototyping workflows simultaneously, think critically under pressure, and consistently meet deadlines within fast-paced environments.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant technical discipline.
Good-to-Have Skills

Domain Expertise: Domain knowledge of Sales Performance Management (SPM) frameworks, including Sales Planning, Sales Forecasting, and Incentive Compensation.

Data Analytics: Experience working with major data visualization and analytics tools such as Tableau and Power BI.

Prototyping Background: Previous direct experience with platform application prototyping or fast-paced application development lifecycles.
