Business Development Specialist – Lead Generation & Outreach

About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and result-driven Business Development Specialist to help build and grow our sales pipeline through effective lead generation, prospecting, and outreach strategies.
The ideal candidate should have experience in B2B lead generation, LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, prospect research, and converting leads into qualified sales opportunities. This role requires someone who is comfortable working with data, experimenting with outreach strategies, and taking ownership of generating new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential clients based on target industries and business requirements.
- Build and maintain prospect databases through LinkedIn, online research, and lead generation tools.
- Execute outbound outreach campaigns through email, LinkedIn, and other channels.
- Create personalised messages to engage potential clients and generate responses.
- Manage follow-ups and convert prospects into qualified meetings.
- Understand client requirements and coordinate with the sales team for further discussions.
- Maintain accurate lead records and update CRM systems regularly.
- Track outreach performance, analyse results, and improve lead generation strategies.
- Support inbound lead management and ensure timely follow-ups.
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in Business Development, Lead Generation, Sales Development, or B2B Sales.
- Experience with prospecting and outreach through LinkedIn and email.
- Strong research skills and ability to identify potential clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to create engaging and personalised outreach messages.
- Comfortable working with CRM tools, Excel/Google Sheets, and sales tracking systems.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and able to work independently.
