Job Summary
The Solar Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing solar energy projects from initiation to completion. The role involves managing project teams, coordinating with clients and vendors, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and achieving project timelines and budgets.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the end-to-end execution of solar power projects.
* Plan project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
* Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and government authorities.
* Supervise site surveys, design reviews, installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
* Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
* Monitor project progress and resolve operational issues.
* Lead and mentor project engineers, supervisors, and technicians.
* Prepare project reports, progress updates, and performance analyses.
* Manage procurement and inventory related to solar projects.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.
* Support business development activities by providing technical expertise and project estimates.
* Ensure customer satisfaction through effective project delivery and post-installation support.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
* Master’s degree preferred but not mandatory.
* Relevant experience in solar energy project management.
Experience
* 5–10 years of experience in the solar or renewable energy industry.
* Experience in managing rooftop, commercial, industrial, or utility-scale solar projects.
Skills and Competencies
* Strong project management and leadership skills.
* Knowledge of solar PV systems, installation processes, and industry standards.
* Budgeting and cost-control expertise.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Proficiency in project management and reporting tools.
* Understanding of electrical systems and safety regulations.
Working Conditions
* Combination of office-based and field/site work.
* Travel to project locations as required.

As per company standards, qualifications, and experience.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
