Job Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end supply chain activities, including procurement, inventory, storage, and distribution of hospital materials.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely delivery of medical and non-medical supplies.
- Raise purchase requests/orders and follow up on pending orders and deliveries.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure the availability of essential hospital supplies.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, stock receipts, issues, and inventory movements.
- Coordinate with various departments to understand material requirements and ensure timely availability.
- Conduct regular stock verification and assist in identifying shortages, excess stock, and expired/near-expiry items.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with hospital procurement and inventory procedures.
- Evaluate vendor performance, pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Support negotiation with suppliers to achieve cost-effective procurement.
- Coordinate with the Stores, Pharmacy, Nursing, Biomedical, and other departments as required.
- Monitor inventory consumption and assist in forecasting future material requirements.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of materials as per hospital standards.
- Prepare regular reports related to purchases, inventory, consumption, pending orders, and vendor performance.
- Follow hospital policies, quality standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Perform other supply-chain-related duties assigned by the management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Purchase, Stores, or Inventory Management; hospital experience is preferred.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and inventory/ERP software.
- Strong vendor coordination, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple requirements and work within deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Willingness to work in a hospital environment and coordinate with multiple departments.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
