1. Financial Accounting
- Maintain books of accounts and ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions.
- Record daily sales, purchase, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Perform bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations.
2. GST & Tax Compliance
- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and annual returns).
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
- Assist in tax audits and statutory audits.
- Maintain proper tax documentation and records.
3. Inventory Accounting
- Maintain accurate records of gold, diamond, silver, and gemstone inventory.
- Reconcile physical stock with accounting records.
- Monitor inventory valuation and stock movement.
- Coordinate with the inventory and showroom teams for stock verification.
4. Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
- Monitor customer receivables and outstanding balances.
- Prepare customer and supplier account reconciliations.
- Follow up on pending payments and resolve discrepancies.
5. Banking & Cash Management
- Handle daily cash transactions and bank deposits.
- Prepare bank reconciliation statements.
- Monitor fund transfers, cheque payments, UPI, and online banking transactions.
- Maintain petty cash records.
6. Payroll & Expense Management
- Assist in salary processing and payroll accounting.
- Verify employee reimbursements and expense claims.
- Maintain records of employee advances and recoveries.
7. Reporting & MIS
- Prepare daily sales reports, cash flow statements, and MIS reports.
- Analyze financial data and highlight variances.
- Provide financial reports to management for decision-making.
8. Audit & Compliance
- Support internal and external audits.
- Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documents.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Assist in implementing internal financial controls.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, or Finance.
- M.Com, CA Inter, or CMA Inter will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 3–7 years of accounting experience, preferably in the jewellery retail industry.
- Experience with jewellery inventory accounting and retail finance is preferred.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and financial compliance.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience with Tally ERP, Busy, Marg ERP, or other accounting software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Inventory accounting and stock reconciliation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Compensation
