The Global Services Legal - Industry Practices Legal team is seeking to appoint a paraprofessional to act as a Paralegal supporting the Global Industry Legal Team. The role will serve as a cross-industry liaison within the Industry Practices team, connecting team members and supporting them with day-to-day tasks. Prior legal experience working with international legal teams in support of a global professional services and technology business is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
You will collaborate with senior stakeholders across Legal and other Corporate Functions to enable legal projects and priorities which align to strategic Industry priorities, including:
- Internal and external legal research and fact gathering around new, innovative technologies (e.g. 5G, GenAI, Agents), risks, laws applicable to the same, and how they impact Industry Clients,
- Develop and maintain knowledge libraries for Industry Practices,

Develop and maintain templates for Industry Practices Legal briefings, including risk reviews, asset & solution risk analysis, enablement materials,
- Provide regular briefing for Legal leadership regarding team priorities, metrics, and operations that will enable team,
Manage team projects and initiatives from ideation through completion, ensuring the team identifies and meets target success measures,
- Collaborate with other teams and participate in research initiatives to create frameworks related to cutting-edge, cross-industry topics that address technology, ethics, human rights, legal and societal issues,

Support the team, and particularly the Leads, with general administrative and organizational tasks, including maintaining team calendars, action plans, metrics and other coordination activities to ensure smooth team operations,

Act as a key point of contact between the different Industries sub-sectors (Health & Life Sciences, Products, Financial Services, Communications, Media & Technology, and Resources), and

Promote collaboration across the team, breaking down silos to enhance organization, alignment, and consistency, while ensuring that team deliverables are properly tracked.
- Legal, paraprofessional or secretarial certification
Proficient at data visualization
Expert in Microsoft product suite, specifically PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and Excel.
- Great attention to detail
Ability to synthesize research results into a compelling storyline
Proactivity and responsibility
Prioritization skills: Comfortable working within a large and complex environment with multiple stakeholders and interest groups
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
Candidates should have a strong understanding of:
o Coordinate, draft, when assigned, and distribute agenda and materials to participants before meetings
o Design clear, well-structured PowerPoint presentations tailored to the audience
o Collect responses and inputs and follow up on action items
o Improvement of processes and trackers
o Track timelines and flag delays
o Creation of team evolution and work metrics
o Be creative, adaptable and comfortable with a diverse workplace
o Provide support in the development of Risk Assessment related materials
o Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
o Highly proficient at speaking and drafting in English
Candidates should ideally also have experience in/awareness of:
o Knowledge of legal research tools, or other online research tools preferred.
o Presenting key findings in a structured and concise manner (with a focus on insights).
o Supporting Legal functions, with general awareness of legal concepts, risks, and emerging technologies, and the ability to communicate effectively across Legal teams.
