Job Summary
Knowledge Center is looking for an experienced QA Tester cum Scrum Master with 6–8 years of Quality Assurance experience, including 2–3 years of Scrum Master responsibilities, to lead quality initiatives across software development projects.
The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Manual & Automation Testing while facilitating Agile ceremonies, mentoring QA teams, improving testing processes, ensuring software quality, and enabling smooth sprint execution. This role requires close collaboration with Product Owners, Developers, Business Teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software products.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end software testing across multiple projects.
- Create and execute comprehensive test strategies and test plans.
- Design, review, and maintain test cases and automation scripts.
- Perform Manual, Automation, Functional, Regression, Integration, API, Database, and Performance Testing.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through closure.
- Lead QA team members and mentor junior testers.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and Business Analysts throughout the SDLC.
- Ensure quality gates are maintained before production releases.
- Validate release readiness and production deployments.
- Drive continuous improvement in QA processes and Agile practices.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and remove project impediments.
- Monitor sprint progress and delivery metrics.
- Ensure adherence to Agile best practices.
- Maintain testing documentation and quality reports.
- Promote automation-first testing strategies to improve efficiency.

Mandatory Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6–8 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience working as a Scrum Master.
- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, SDLC, and STLC.
- Hands-on experience in Manual and Automation Testing.
- Experience leading QA teams and testing initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of API, Database, Performance, and Regression Testing.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and release validation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master).
- ISTQB Certification.
- Experience working in Product-Based organizations.
- Exposure to Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or Microservices testing.

Scrum Master Responsibilities
- Facilitate Sprint Planning sessions.
- Conduct Daily Scrum meetings.
- Lead Sprint Reviews and Sprint Retrospectives.

- Coach teams on Agile principles and Scrum practices.
- Coordinate with Product Owners and stakeholders.

QA Responsibilities

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
