This is a full-time on-site position for a Fashion Design Faculty at Minerva Group of Institutions, Sudhowala, Dehradun. The individual in this role will be responsible for creating and delivering curriculum, mentoring students and fostering a creative learning environment. Day-to-day tasks include conducting lectures, industry-oriented projects, practical demonstrations and grading assignments, while staying informed about current trends in the fashion industry to update course content and teaching methodologies.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Fashion Design ; relevant certifications and professional experience will be a plus.
- 1–3 years of teaching or industry experience preferred (Freshers with excellent academic records may also apply).
- Good communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
- Expertise in Fashion Design, including knowledge of textiles, garment construction, and fashion illustration
- Proficiency in teaching methodologies, curriculum development, and student mentorship
- Strong knowledge of design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other computer-aided design (CAD) tools
- Experience in creative problem-solving, trend forecasting, and professional networking in the fashion industry
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate in an academic setting
- Passion for teaching and the ability to inspire creativity in students
