Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Scheduling: -Develop and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on sales orders and design timelines. Allocate tasks to carpenters, machine operators, and assembly teams.
Workflow & Process Optimization: Oversee the entire production line—including cutting, edge-banding, boring/drilling, assembly, polishing, and upholstery. Implement lean manufacturing techniques to minimize waste and bottlenecks.
Quality Control: -Establish and enforce strict quality standards at every stage of production. Ensure final pieces match the approved technical drawings, material specifications, and finish requirements. Material & Inventory Management: Monitor raw material consumption (solid wood, plywood, MDF, laminates, veneer, hardware) to minimize wastage. Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of materials. Machine Maintenance: Oversee the upkeep and calibration of manufacturing machinery (e.g., CNC routers, panel saws, edge-banding machines, boring machines, and pneumatic tools) to minimize downtime.
Team Leadership: Manage, train, and motivate a skilled workforce of supervisors, craftsmen, and laborers. Ensure compliance with workshop safety regulations and proper usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
