Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Structural Engineer to join our structural consultancy team. The candidate will assist senior engineers in structural design, drafting coordination, site inspections, and preparation of engineering reports for residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the structural analysis and design of RCC and steel structures.
- Prepare design calculations, BOQs, and structural reports.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and clients regarding structural requirements.
- Review structural drawings and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Assist in preparing structural audit reports and rehabilitation proposals.
- Conduct site visits, inspections, and quality checks during construction.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure work is executed as per approved drawings.
- Prepare bar bending schedules (BBS), quantity estimations, and technical documentation.
- Support senior engineers in project planning and execution.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of RCC and Steel Design principles.
- Familiarity with IS Codes and design standards.
- Proficiency in:
- AutoCAD
- ETABS
- STAAD Pro
- SAFE
- MS Excel
- Ability to read and interpret structural drawings.
- Good communication and report-writing skills.
- Willingness to visit project sites.
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Civil Engineering.
- M.E. in Structural Engineering will be an added advantage.
