Key Responsibilities
- Perform ARC, TIG, MIG, and Gas welding as per project requirements.
- Weld MS, GI, SS, and CS pipes for HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, and Mechanical systems.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, welding symbols, and fabrication layouts.
- Fabricate and install pipe supports, brackets, and structural components.
- Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, beveling, and cleaning before welding.
- Inspect welds to ensure quality and rectify defects when required.
- Maintain welding machines, tools, and equipment in good working condition.
- Follow approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and quality standards.
- Comply with company HSE policies and site safety regulations.
- Coordinate with Pipe Fitters, Supervisors, and QA/QC Engineers to complete work on schedule.
- Maintain housekeeping at the work area and ensure proper storage of equipment.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in ARC, TIG, MIG, and Gas welding.
- 2+years of experience in MEP, construction, oil & gas, or industrial projects.
- Knowledge of pipe fabrication and welding techniques.
- Ability to read isometric drawings and welding symbols.
- Familiarity with MEP piping systems.
- Strong attention to quality and safety.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
