Job Summary
Choksi Heraeus Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Non-Ferrous Alloy Melting Engineer / Melting Supervisor to join our production team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in melting copper, brass, bronze, silver, or other non-ferrous alloys using induction furnaces.
The candidate should be capable of independently managing melting operations while ensuring safety, quality, and production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and supervise non-ferrous alloy melting processes.
- Prepare furnace charge as per production requirements.
- Control melting parameters, alloy composition, and pouring temperature.
- Ensure optimum metal recovery, productivity, and process efficiency.
- Maintain production and quality records.
- Troubleshoot melting and furnace-related issues.
- Follow all safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline (preferred).
- 3–8 years of experience in non-ferrous alloy melting.
- Hands-on experience with induction melting furnaces.
- Good understanding of alloy chemistry and melting practices.
- Ability to work independently and solve production-related issues.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Copper, Brass, Bronze, Silver, or Precious Metal alloys.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Team player with a proactive attitude.
- Knowledge of workplace safety and quality standards.
