Job Description – Assistant Fit-Out Project Manager (Premium Residential Sites)
Location: Anna Nagar, Chennai
Position Summary
We are looking for an Assistant Fit-Out Project Manager to support the execution of premium residential interior projects. The ideal candidate should have experience in interior fit-out execution, site coordination, quality control, contractor management, and project planning. The role requires ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and as per D'LIFE's quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in executing premium residential interior fit-out projects.
- Coordinate daily site activities and supervise contractors, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, painters, and other vendors.
- Ensure work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Monitor project schedules and support timely completion of milestones.
- Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality and safety standards.
- Coordinate with design, production, logistics, procurement, and installation teams.
- Track material requirements and ensure timely availability at the site.
- Resolve day-to-day site issues and escalate critical concerns to the Project Manager.
- Attend client meetings and provide regular project progress updates.
- Verify contractor bills, material consumption, and site documentation.
- Maintain daily progress reports and project records.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in residential interior fit-out or premium home interior projects.
- Experience in modular kitchen, wardrobes, false ceiling, flooring, painting, and finishing works is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior drawings.
- Good communication, coordination, and team management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is an added advantage.
- Willingness to travel across project sites in and around Chennai.
