Multi-Skilled Technician
We are seeking a reliable Multi-Skilled Technician to handle the daily operations and maintenance of a 50,000 sq. ft. commercial Multi-Storey Building (MSB).
Position Overview
- Role: Multi-Skilled Technician (MST)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years
- Education: Basic Schooling + ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical engineering
- Location: Chennai
- Shift: Operational flexibility required (includes shift rotations)
Key Responsibilities
Electrical Maintenance
- Monitor and maintain HT/LT panels, transformers, and switchgears.
- Operate and service Diesel Generator (DG) sets during power failures.
- Manage UPS systems, battery banks, and main distribution boards.
- Maintain all building lighting, wiring, and electrical fixtures.
Mechanical & HVAC Maintenance
- Perform routine checks on Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, and ventilation systems.
- Inspect and service water hydro-pneumatic pumping systems.
- Monitor fire fighting systems, including jockey pumps and sprinklers.
- Conduct basic plumbing repairs and pipeline maintenance.
Operations & General Maintenance
- Take regular hourly logs of energy, water, and equipment parameters.
- Carry out preventive maintenance schedules (PPM) to minimize downtime.
- Attend to daily tenant complaints and service requests promptly.
- Supervise external vendors during specialized AMC maintenance tasks
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
