Job Summary
The Floor In charge is responsible for managing day-to-day warehouse floor operations, ensuring smooth inbound and outbound activities, maintaining inventory accuracy, supervising manpower, and ensuring compliance with company SOPs, safety standards, and productivity targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse floor operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and loading/unloading.
- Allocate work to warehouse associates and monitor productivity.
- Ensure timely completion of all operational activities as per dispatch schedule.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper stock handling and regular cycle counts.
- Monitor FIFO/FEFO practices for FMCG products.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and 5S implementation on the warehouse floor.
- Maintain quality standards and prevent product damage or shortages.
- Prepare daily operational reports and update management on warehouse performance.
- Coordinate with Production, Logistics, Transport, and Planning teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies.
- Handle manpower attendance, discipline, shift allocation, and training.
- Resolve operational issues and escalate critical matters to management.
- Support stock audits and customer inspections whenever required.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline (Preferred).
- Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain is an added advantage.
Experience
- 3–6 years of warehouse experience in an FMCG company.
- Minimum 1–2 years experience as a Team Leader, Supervisor, or Floor In charge.
- Experience in handling manpower and warehouse operations.
Required Skills

- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, ERP/WMS).
