Support Worker
The role requirement is to be passionate about caring for older and to always look at ways to progress and improve residents’ experiences while in our care. As a Support Worker you’re responsible for all operational aspects of the Care home, which requires strong business acumen. The role requires you to be a good communicator, always available, with patience and a compassionate ear to support residents.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, feeding, and mobility support.
- Applicants must be willing to stay with the Care Home Angamaly
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Offer basic medical assistance (medication reminders, vital sign checks, etc.).
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the client’s area.
- Report any health or behavioural changes to the supervisor.
- Uphold confidentiality, respect, and professionalism at all times.
- Provide a safe, caring, and compassionate environment for residents.
- Monitor care quality, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Build strong relationships with residents and their families, providing emotional support and guidance.
- Look for opportunities to enhance and improve residents' experiences within the care home
Qualification
- Previous caregiving, or home care experience preferred.
- Freshers also considered
- Fluent in English & Malayalam to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
- Must be patient, trustworthy, and responsible.
- Preferred age is 21 to 35
- Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) is mandatory before joining.
