Safety Management Professional / Safety Officer
Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and safety-focused professional to manage workplace safety, identify potential hazards, implement safety procedures, and ensure compliance with applicable safety standards and regulations. The candidate will be responsible for promoting a strong safety culture and minimizing workplace accidents and risks.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular workplace safety inspections and risk assessments.
Identify hazards and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with company safety standards and applicable regulations.
Conduct safety training, induction programs, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss cases and prepare reports.
Maintain safety records, inspection reports, and compliance documentation.
Monitor the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Coordinate emergency preparedness, fire safety, evacuation, and safety drills.
Work with management and employees to improve overall workplace safety.
Monitor contractors and employees for compliance with safety procedures.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly safety reports.
Recommend improvements to reduce workplace risks and accidents.
Candidate Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Safety Management, Industrial Safety, Fire & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
Freshers and experienced candidates can apply.
Good knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.
Strong observation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to conduct safety inspections and prepare reports.
Willingness to work at project sites/industrial locations when required.
Relevant safety certifications will be an added advantage.
Salary
₹3,00,000 – ₹5,00,000 per annum, depending on qualification, experience, and job role.
