- Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, addressing patient queries regarding appointments, doctor consultations, surgical procedures, and general hospital information
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments across various departments (OPD, diagnostics, surgery)
- Make outbound calls for appointment reminders, follow-ups, post-surgery check-ins, and patient feedback collection
- Provide accurate information about services, doctors' availability, treatment packages, and insurance/billing queries
- Address patient concerns and complaints with empathy, escalating complex issues to the appropriate department/supervisor
- Maintain and update patient records and call logs accurately in the hospital management system (HMS/CRM)
- Coordinate with front-desk, medical, and billing teams to ensure smooth patient flow and information accuracy
- Handle emergency call triage by directing urgent cases to the appropriate medical staff immediately
- Achieve daily/monthly call handling and conversion targets (for inquiries into appointments)
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information as per healthcare data privacy standards
- Assist in outbound campaigns for eye check-up camps, awareness drives, or promotional health packages
