Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic General Manager – Projects to lead and manage multiple government construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing all construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality, safety, and contractual standards. The role requires strong leadership, project management, and coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the execution and management of multiple government construction projects.
- Monitor the progress of all construction sites and ensure timely completion as per project schedules.
- Lead and supervise Project Managers, Site Engineers, Billing Engineers, and other project teams.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, government regulations, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Coordinate with government departments, consultants, contractors, and clients for smooth project execution.
- Review project schedules, budgets, billing, procurement, and resource allocation.
- Identify project risks and implement corrective actions to minimize delays and cost overruns.
- Monitor project costs, productivity, and overall profitability.
- Ensure timely submission of project reports, billing, documentation, and contract compliance.
- Conduct regular site visits to review project progress and resolve technical and operational issues.
- Support tender execution, project planning, and contract administration.
- Drive continuous improvement in project delivery, quality, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Master's Degree is an added advantage).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in government construction projects, with proven experience managing multiple project sites.
- Strong knowledge of project execution, contract management, billing, budgeting, and quality control.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in handling large-scale government infrastructure or building projects.
- Strong understanding of tender conditions, BOQs, project planning, and statutory compliance.
- Ability to manage multiple teams and projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel frequently to project sites.

Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.
Pay: ₹70,000.00 per month
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Indore, Madhya Pradesh (Indore)
