Role Overview:
Assistant Manager - Revenue & Distribution is responsible for the strategic pricing, forecasting, and distribution of execution for a portfolio of hotels. This role owns day-to-day revenue actions across all distribution channels—including OTAs, channel manager and direct brand platforms—to optimize Occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR. By combining historical data analysis with real-time market intelligence, the Assistant Manager ensures the portfolio maintains a competitive edge and achieves consistent growth. Strong analytical skills and multi-property experience are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Pricing & Revenue Optimization:
§ Develop and execute dynamic pricing strategies across portfolios using RMS tools.
§ Monitor ADR, RevPAR, occupancy daily; adjust rates/inventory for top revenue properties.
§ Maintain rate parity across OTAs, direct channels, and corporate accounts.
§ Ability to conduct comprehensive CompSet (Competitive Set) analysis and adapt strategies based on market demand, local events, and competitor movements.
Portfolio & Channel Management:
§ Optimize inventory, rate plans, and restrictions across all distribution channels to maximize revenue.
§ Conduct QC spot checks and monthly full audits of OTA listings (content, rates, photos).
§ Optimize OTA performance (MMT campaigns, coupons, Booking.com Visibility Boosters and Genius) and distribution mix.
§ Ability to conduct comprehensive CompSet (Competitive Set) analysis and adapt strategies based on market demand, local events, and competitor movements.
Forecasting & Planning:
§ Create short-term (15-30 days) and long-term (90+ days) demand forecasts and develop pricing strategy accordingly.
§ Develop annual budgets and deliver executive reports on portfolio performance.
§ Provide Revenue Analysis and forecast reports to leadership at regular intervals.
Revenue Operations Support:
§ Assist revenue managers with day-to-day operational tasks.
§ Support updates and changes to rate plans across OTAs.
§ Prioritize top 20% revenue-generating properties using 80/20 rule.
§ Conduct listing quality checks to ensure optimal performance and visibility.
§ Collaborate with Operations, Sales, and Marketing for cross-functional alignment.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
§ Bachelor’s/ Master's in hospitality, Business, Hospitality Management or a related field.
§ 3-5+ years hotel Revenue Management; 2+ years multi-property/chain experience required.
§ Expertise on OTA platforms (MakeMyTrip, Booking.com, Agoda essential).
§ Strong analytical and forecasting skills are required.
§ Proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis capabilities.
