We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our manufacturing facility at Murthal, Sonipat. The candidate will be responsible for supporting and maintaining quality systems across Incoming Quality Control (IQC), Process Quality Control (PQC), and Outgoing Quality Control (OQC) and ensuring that defined quality standards, work instructions, inspection procedures, and quality processes are consistently followed on the factory floor. The role will involve conducting incoming material inspections, in-process and final product inspections, maintaining quality checklists and inspection records, identifying and documenting non-conformities, handling NCRs, supporting root cause analysis using tools such as 5 Why and Fishbone, and following up on corrective and preventive actions. The candidate will also work closely with Production, R&D, Purchase, Stores, Supply Chain, and vendors to identify recurring quality issues and drive corrective actions. Responsibilities will include monitoring supplier quality and vendor performance, coordinating SCAR/CAPA with suppliers, tracking rejection and defect trends, supporting supplier and internal quality audits, maintaining calibration records for inspection and measuring equipment, and ensuring that quality documentation is updated and properly maintained. The engineer will also assist in developing and updating IQC, PQC and OQC checklists, Work Instructions (WI), inspection standards, Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) and Critical-to-Process (CTP) checkpoints, particularly for new products and process changes. The role will require regular monitoring of production lines to ensure operators are following approved work instructions and quality checkpoints, identifying process deviations, and coordinating with Production for immediate containment and corrective action. The candidate will also support customer complaint investigations, returned-product analysis, defect verification, and implementation of corrective actions to prevent recurrence. In addition, the Quality Engineer will be expected to maintain quality reports, dashboards, rejection data, inspection records, audit findings, CAPA status, and other QMS documentation and assist the Quality Head in ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and company quality procedures. The ideal candidate should have a B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, with 0–5 years of experience in quality or manufacturing; experience in electronics, consumer electronics, EMS, ODM, OEM, or assembly manufacturing will be preferred. Candidates should have good analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, basic knowledge of quality tools and manufacturing processes, good documentation skills, and the ability to work effectively with both internal teams and external suppliers. Freshers with strong technical fundamentals and a genuine interest in manufacturing quality may also be considered.
Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
