Position: Project Manager (Civil)
Reporting To: Director – Projects
Job Summary
The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall planning, execution, monitoring, quality assurance, safety, client coordination, billing, and timely completion of the company’s construction projects located in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh and Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh. The role requires strong leadership, effective resource management, and the ability to manage multiple project locations while ensuring projects are completed within the stipulated time, budget, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
- Plan, execute, monitor, and control all construction activities from project mobilization to completion.
- Ensure execution in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, BOQs, contractual requirements, and project schedules.
- Lead and coordinate site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure timely completion of project milestones while maintaining quality and cost objectives.
Planning & Monitoring
- Prepare and monitor project schedules and construction programmes.
- Review project progress against planned milestones and implement corrective actions wherever required.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, materials, and other project resources.
- Submit periodic progress reports to the management.
Quality Assurance
- Ensure compliance with approved quality standards, specifications, and relevant codes.
- Supervise inspections, testing, material approvals, and quality documentation.
- Ensure timely rectification and closure of quality observations.
Safety & Compliance
- Enforce safety standards and company HSE policies across all project sites.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, labour laws, and contractual obligations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety reviews.
Commercial & Documentation
- Verify work measurements and contractor bills.
- Coordinate preparation and submission of client bills and project documentation.
- Maintain daily progress reports, labour records, material reconciliation statements, correspondence, and other project records.
- Monitor project costs and ensure efficient utilization of project resources.
Client & Stakeholder Coordination
- Represent the company during client meetings, inspections, and project review meetings.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, vendors, and statutory authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
- Ensure timely resolution of technical and operational issues.
Multi-Location Responsibility
- Manage and oversee project activities at Jabalpur and Jhansi.
- The Project Manager shall be required to stay at the Jhansi project site for approximately two (2) weeks every month and manage activities at the Jabalpur project during the remaining period.
- Ensure consistent execution standards, effective communication, and timely reporting across both project locations.
Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Project Management certification shall be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 8–12 years of experience in civil building construction projects.
- At least 5 years of experience in an independent Project Manager role.
- Experience in handling multiple project sites will be preferred.
Skills Required

- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project/Primavera, AutoCAD, and project documentation.
Mandatory Requirements
- Must possess a valid driving licence.
- Must own a four-wheeler for official travel.
- Must be willing to travel regularly between Jabalpur and Jhansi.
- Must be willing to stay in Jhansi for approximately two (2) weeks every month as part of project management responsibilities.
- Ability to independently manage multiple project locations.
Travel & Reimbursement
- Reimbursement for the use of the employee’s four-wheeler for official duties, including travel-related expenses, shall be made in accordance with the Company’s Travel and Reimbursement Policy.
- Accommodation and other approved travel expenses incurred during official travel shall be reimbursed as per the Company’s policies.
Compensation
Salary and benefits shall be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and company policy.
Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹105,000.00 per month
