Role and Responsibilities
Engineering Work
- Creating System Integration CAD drawings of Lighting Control, Audio Visual, Access Control, Security System, Communication & Electrical Panels with provided specifications.
- Creating designs, layouts, and specifications for AV systems, taking into account factors such as room acoustics, lighting, equipment placement, and user experience.
- Creating accurate CAD drawings or revisions from hand sketches, verbal instructions, and site visits.
- Systematically Maintain Project Database by saving sketches and drawings on our CAD server; keeping the server organized; updating project folders and files as jobs progress and revisions are made.
- Creating detailed technical documentation, including system diagrams, wiring diagrams, equipment lists, user manuals, and operation guides.
- Creating functional and connection-level drawings (including video, audio, networking, control and schematics, communications systems).
- Coordinating with the on-site Installation Team to provide Engineering Support by explaining system designs and changes.
- Creating CAD drawings of existing and new audiovisual systems, including architectural packages, electrical packages, audio, video, and control flows.
- Printing various formats of drawing sets for project managers and field personnel.
Team Coordination
- Collaborating with AV Presales Engineers, Project managers, & other Sales Teams to understand the requirements.
- Generating Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Coordinating with project managers design consultants, and sub-contractors, to produce and alter drawings.
- Interface with Architects/Interior Designers to communicate and coordinate technical drawings on AutoCAD.
- Participate in Training sessions by vendors, on new & existing technology for client applications.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Proficiency in the use of diagrammatic software tools (such as AutoCAD, Visio)
- Reading and understand architectural, mechanical, and electrical (MEP) drawings.
- Minimum of one year of AutoCAD experience required.
- Knowledge of SketchUp would be a bonus.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
